About Us

Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded to serve Liberty Center in 1932. The congregation officially joined the Missouri Synod in 1933.

After meeting in a temporary home at another church, it moved to a more permanent location in 1934, where it met until our current building was built in 1957.

In 1970, we were blessed to construct our Education building to house our preschool and Sunday School classrooms. Our preschool opened in 1970 with the completion of the Education building. Currently, our preschool is open to children ages 3 and 4 during the school year and provides a Christ-centered curriculum, focused on preparing students for elementary school.

We offer opportunities for worship, adult Bible study, and Sunday school on Sunday morning and are blessed with an active music ministry to enrich our worship.  We also offer several opportunities for fellowship throughout the year including our Soup and Pie meals, Men’s Banquet, Mother’s Banquet, and bus trips.

In service to our community, we have Panera bread available for pick-up, free of charge, on Saturdays and Sundays. We are also actively involved in the Caring Cupboard here in Liberty Center.

We invite you to join us for worship and to become involved in our church family.
